The trade name of this contrast agent is called as Iohexol Omnipaque. This contrast agent is often used to inject into vein before CT radiography diagnosis for radiographing blood vessel, urinary system, spinal cord, hip joint and lymphatic system, with many advantages such as low radiography density, low toxicity and good tolerance. At present, it is one of the best contrast agents, has completely substituted for the ionic contrast agents in developed countries.
