Our Filler Masterbatch is made of high quality Calcium Carbonate and other special additives after extrusion molding from high performance twin-screw machine. It is widely used for polyolefin material in the process of extrusion, injection, plastic blowing, film blowing, casting, etc. When it is put into use, we can reduce material cost, and improve the character of final products.?

When used in HDPE blown film, it is often used in the general HDPE supermarket shopping bags blown film. It has good dispersing quality and good feel of hand. Its add ratio is around from 20%-40%.(different ratio decided by the product and user).

I am a packaging intern at the Nestlé PTC in Orbe, Switzerland and I am writing on a report regarding the possibilities to reduce the environmental impact of single serve capsules for roast and ground coffee applications by using new materials. One of those possibilities might be using CaCO3 fillers in polypropylene capsules. Therefore I have several questions that I hope you as a supplier and manufacturer of CaCO3 fillers are willing to answer me. For this research I would like to understand the benefits of calcium carbonate fillers in terms of the following issues: --> Which percentage/type of CaCO3 fillers is feasible for this application? How does talc differ? --> Properties of calcium carbonate filled polypropylene (the coffee capsules need to resist up to 100°C at p=20bar for t=5min) Limitations of use? --> Environmental benefits? --> Cost?
