  This rear axle is designed for electric vehicles of various applications, such as cart for driving on the golf court, for short distance travel on the city road, for vehicles of leisure and recreation purposes, etc. It comprises two sub-assemblies---the gear box and the axle housing. The housing has an integrated design rendering it a higher strength, while the gear box is for power transmission. These two units work independently so that the load-carrying axle housing will not adversely affect the power transmission unit, the gear box. The result is smoother motion, lower noise level, higher transmission efficiency, and a longer service life for the storage battery. This rear axle has the same performance as that the DANA rear axle has and it has a weight about equivalent to the DANA axle.
