Detailed Product Description

VETZ Lubricated Type Plug Valves are available in Regular, Short, Venturi Pattern or Full port. Regular Pattern valves have the largest port area. Short Pattern valves have a reduced port area as a consequence of their compact face to face dimensions which are identical to those for wedge gate valves. Venturi Pattern valves have a reduced port area and a flow path approximate a venturi shape to aid pressure recovery.

VETZ Lubricated Type Plug Valves meet the requirements of BS5353. API 599 API 6D and ANSI B16. 34. Valves made in materials to meet API 6A are also available.

Inspection Policy for VETZ valves

Every VETZ valve is subjected to a 100% pressure test according to API 598 requirements. Manufacturer's material test reports and Inspection and Test Certifications are available upon request.
