Casting parts Engineering Services: Casting Capabilities and Product Design Support Early design involvement by SoftMetal will help determine the castability of your product design. Suggestions may be made to improve casting design or performance and/or recommendations may be made to determine the most cost efficient way to produce a high quality part. With latest CAD/CAM systems(we are using softwares like Pro-E, Solidworks, Auto CAD and Master CAM), We are capable to design, develope and manufacture product in good quality and low lost. The tools are developed using the CAD/CAM equipment and the parts are mainly produced in majority of stainless steel, carbon steel, heat resistant steel, copper base alloys, nickel base alloys, aluminum and cobalt base alloy. SoftMetal has been supplying parts weighting from a few grams to 80kgs. The engineering center is equipped with the first-class Physical & Chemical testing facilities, such as Optical microscope, Hydraulic Universal Tensile Strength Machine, Low Temperature Impact Testing Instrument, Rockwell Hardness Tester and Material Abrasion Examination Machine. X-ray, MT& UT instrument, etc. Complete post-process: For the post-processes after casting, there are other subcontractors that we can use for heat treatment, electropolish, sand blasting, machining, hand polish, oxygenation and powder coated.
