API 7-1
IBOP for Top Drive used for top drive. It includes Upper IBOP for Top Drive and Lower IBOP for Top Drive.
They are used for top drive drilling system with joined one by one. The IBOP for Top Drive allows free passage of drilling fluid without pressure loss in the process of work. The valves can control blowout pressure, or as a valve to prevent loss of fluid when the pipe is disassembly.
The valves are metal to metal seals with high insulating property. They can bear high pressure from both ends., available in 10,000psi pr 15,000psi.The valves must go through pressure test of 15,000psi or 22,500psi.
