RTV Silicones can be cured with either a platinum catalyst or a tin catalyst. Applications include low temperature overmolding, making molds for reproducing, and some optically clear grades have lens applications.

As with a low viscosity, high strength and excellent duplication times, it's widely used for concrete casting and cement products casting,making silicone molds for artificial stone,concrete statue molds,garden statue molds,stone molds,cement crafts,GRC/GPR decorations,ect.

The quality of our rtv silicone rubber is similar with Dow corning silicone,wacker silicone,smooth on silicone,but the prices of silicone rubber is more competitive than them.

silicone mold making rubber,rtv silicone rubber,rtv 2 silicone  is white flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-40A° after curing.

1. If the mold makers want to make large products and large size molds, the mold should be made of silicone rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the products with fine and precision patterns, it should be made of silicon with low hardness.
2. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If molds requiring fast drying and demould, more curing agent is needed; Contrarily, if molds requiring slower drying and demould, less curing agent is needed.
3. it doesn't better to add silicone oil into silicone rubber. If a special soft silicon mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demould. )

5.Shelf life and package

The shelf life can be reach to 12 months at room temperature about 25c in orignal package.

Our normally package is 25kg/pail and 200kg/pail.
