Casting silicon is maily used in Concrete ,soap ,Toys , ceilings ,gift, house decoration, heritage copying ,gypsum decorations,plate engrave, sculpture replica, arts & crafts, resin crafts, poly resin crafts, unsaturated resin crafts, candle crafts, plastic crafts, stationery, plaster crafts, Buddhist statue crafts cement products, plastic toys, handicrafts, soap crafts, large-scale sculpture, reproduction of cultural relic, shoe sole molds, and so on.

Different Models of Casting silicon with different features

HY-620 and HY-640 are particularly suitable for pouring mould. HY-620 is for small crafts mould making, while HY-640 is for large crafts mould making.

Common features of HY-620 and HY-640: light viscosity, good fluidity, easy-operation, good tension and high tear strength.

HY-628 and HY-638 are particularly suitable for brushing mould making.

Common features of HY-628 and HY-638: moderate viscosity, easy-operation.

Agents are available if requested. It won’t affect the quality of silicon rubber but to make the operation much easier.

Frequently asked questions of Casting silicon

Limitations for Casting silicon:

a. When the hardness of Casting silicon is lower than 15 shore A, the tension, the tear strength, the ageing resistance, acid and alkali-resistance of Casting silicon will reduce respectively.

b. When the hardness of Casting silicon is higher than 50 shore A, the tension and the tear strength of Casting silicon will reduce, and the solidified silicon mold will be easily broken.

Why should the silicone mold be reused only for a few times?

It can be due to the following reasons:

a. Adding too much silicone oil in to silicone rubber.

b. Using the silicone rubber with a high hardness to make molds for small sized products

with delicate and intricate designs .
