The International Hardware Fair / Practical World 2008 will be held March 9-12, 2008 at the Koelnmesse Exhibition Center in Cologne, Germany. As an international trade fair for the hardware and DIY sector, the show features suppliers from home and abroad. According to fair organizer Koelnmesse GmbH, the 2008 fair will feature about 3,500 suppliers from over 50 countries. Suppliers from Italy, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, USA, mainland China, Taiwan, India and more will be exhibiting at the show.
The fair will present a diverse range of hardware. They will be divided into three segments — Tools; Security, locks and fittings; and Home improvement / DIY — according to suppliers' products. The arrangement offers high convenience for visitors to locate their interested suppliers.
Held every two years, the previous show in 2006 featured 3,475 suppliers from 56 countries. The four-day event attracted over 74,890 visitors from 143 countries to see the new innovations in the industry.
