Thermal Protector

BR-A2D.BW series thermal protector is an automatic temperature recovery device.It isinstalled in series with the motor coil. Therefore, the thermal protector willrespond to the temperature change. The heat caused by temperature raise willtransmit to bimetallic element. Once the preset temperature isreached, the bimetallic element will react and make contactor cut off. Then thecircuit will be cut off. Once the motor temperature decreases to the ratedrecovery temperature, bimetallic element will recover to the initial station.Then the contactor will close and the circuit will reconnect. When thetemperature of motor winding decreases to the rated temperature value ofreposition, bimetal element will return to its initial state, the movingcontact will be closed and the circuit will be on.

Temperature specification

Open temperature: 70~150±5℃, one gear per 5℃

Reset temperature: it is 2/3 of standardopening temperature or specified by customers. The tolerance is 15℃.

Contact capacity

They are applicable for more than 5000 cyclesunder following condition.

Keep the package material and the part itselffrom snow, rain and pressure. Air humidity should be less than 90%
