SPC-600TH water well drilling rig is used for hydrogeologic prospecting, digging water well for industrial and agricultural purposes, drilling shallow oil well and surface cased hole. The rig can drill in direct circulation with a mud pump; meanwhile, the rig is equipped with a foam generator, which facilitates the foam drilling process even in dry areas. With an additional air compressor and a down-hole hammer, the rig is able to drill beyond layer D, i.e. clay layer, sand layer, decomposed rock and bedrock with a max depth of 1968ft (600m).

All the components on the rig, including clutch drive hosing, transmission, rotary table, winch, guide and pressing mechanism, derrick, mud pump, sub frame, operating system, are installed in the HOWO chassis (model: ZZ2257N4657C1). The main drive of the drill is mechanical, and its control mechanism is partial hydraulic while partial mechanic.

The rig is equipped with a pressurization system; with auxiliary pressure at the initial stage, it increases the pore-forming drilling efficiency. When the rig operates deeper, its weight is sufficient enough to generate auxiliary pressure.

The rig is equipped with a main winch, an auxiliary winch and a tool winch. The main winch is used for lifting drilling tools, running string; the auxiliary winch is used for driving impact sampler, coring tools and bailer tube. In addition, it can perform well washing tasks. The tool winch is used for raising stand and drilling tools in order to save labor.

The rig has four hydraulic jacks to level the rig, which increases preparation efficiency.

The ingenious design of the front and rear axles improves the agility and moving speed of the rig. Its major components have enough room for maintenance and operation. Besides, the rig is proud of its excellent sand proof and shock resistance performance and its flexibility to work under the temperature of (-4F~113F)-20°C—45°C.
