Application
Purlins are the horizontal beams that are used to attach sheeted roofs and vertical wall cladding sitting between the sheeting and the primary building or wall structure.When supporting vertical wall cladding they are also known as rails.
Size range
1. heights of 140mm, 175mm and 200mm
2.gauges (thickness) of 1.6mm, 1.8mm and 2mm.
3. purlins are available in most lengths and made from high tensile structural grade steel with a galvanised coating.
4. The purlins required for a particular application will vary with the thickness of the sheet or panel,
the pitch of the roof and prevalent weather and loading conditions.
