First ,passivation corrosion is different form the physic rust preventing, passivation utilize  the active principle of metal. after the passivation, the surface of the pipe will form a inert compound .

to achieve the long-time rust.

After the passivation, not only can improve the corrosion resistance, service life and enhancing the adhesion strength of the coating and the base metal, and also can increase the decoration of the surface of the parts.

Oiled processing before shipping is better, not oiled pipe will be more likely rusting in the transit.
