Making silicone mold with brushing way

1.Handle the original mold(The performance of the original molds will effect the products  make out of by the molds directly.)

2. Typeset the pallet according to the products that it’s a hollow or solid and its size.

3. Cut the wooden pallet and leave properly vacuum tank, hollow products can be without vacuum tank (The volume of vacuum tank should be greater than or equal to the size of the original mold)

4. Stick the original mold to the vacuum tank then adhere the mold and the vacuum to the wooden pallet. Then we should  leave 3cm spacing to the fringe of the wooden pallet.

5. Take small balls of clay, and push them into place with thickness of 4mm.

6. Take the clay piece around wooden vacuum tank and smooth it , put the fill hole for the mold in the highest point.

7. Construct a foam board “wall” around the original mold which has been handle well, pour the liquid plaster into the frame with one layer or several layer plaster according to the original molds.

8. Remove the clay when the plaster drying

9. Clean the original mold.

10. Apply Vaseline onto the outer of the plaster coat, fix the plaster coat onto the molds exactly and pour the silicone into the highest part of the mold.

11. Take away the outer plaster mold when the silicone cure, Set up a wooden board around the molds and pour the plaster onto the surface of the molds.

12.Take away the plaster mold when it cure, unfix the silicone mold to fix on the plaster mold, the a complete mold will be finished.
