2.Operation instruction of RTV silicone rubber artificial stone mold:

   liquid silicone is composed of two components.Component A is white flowing liquid while component B is the curing agent.

Steps of RTV silicone rubber artificial stone mold:

   a.take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for  mixing evenly.

   b. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles.

   c.After deaired, pouring the liquid silicone rubber into the product to be duplicated or into the mold frame.

Note: For Emblema Moulding RTV-2 silicon rubber is used for pouring or brushing technique. That is to say,

3.Storage and Precautions of RTV silicone rubber artificial stone mold:

  liquid silicone, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.

 
(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicone oil. If a special soft silicone mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demold.)

4. Features of RTV silicone rubber artificial stone mold:

liquid silicone rubber for stone mold is white or red flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A°after curing. Molding silicon rubber is a kind elastic silicon rubber mold which features with resistance to deformation, high-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion as well as high reproduction times, good tensile strength ,tear strength and elongation. Our curing agent is free charged.

6.FAQ. Why the silicone for gypsum cornices molding just can be reproduced for a few times?

It can be due to the following reasons: 

a. Adding too much silicone oil in to silicon rubber. Silicon oil is an additive which destroies the molecular weight of silicone rubber and reduce the tension and tear strength.

b. Using the silicon rubber with a high hardness to make molds for small sized products with delicate and intricate designs and the silicon rubber with a low hardness to makes molds for large sized products with simple designs. 

(Notes: we should choose the silicon rubber specifically according to the requirements of our products to avoid this problem.)
