How to store rtv silicone for making molds ?
Generally, rtv silicone for making molds should be stored under cool and dry place. But the shelf-life of silicone rubber does much concern temperature. It can be stored for about 3 years under 20°C room temperature, while it would be cross-linking within 1 year if stored under 35°C or higher.
rtv silicone for making molds does not freeze even under minus 60°C. Catalyst does not freeze until the temperature falls to zero degree. However, they both can be re-used if bake them in the oven with 35 degree.
