Addition cure RTV2 Silicone for mold making, also called platinum cured silicones, are:

1)two-component with 1:1 mixing ratio, translucent high tear strength, flexible mold compounds.

2)food grade mold material for making silicone cake mold, silicone chocolate mold, silicone bakeware mold as well as silicone baking pans .

3)also envionmentally friendly for polyurethane, epoxy, and polyester resins, wax and a wide range of other casting materials.

4)Platinum cure silicones can also be used to cast prosthetics for special effects makeup and medical purposes.

NOTE: Platinum cure silicone rubbers are chemically sensitive to latex, sulfur, and certain other materials.

3.Why does the silicone rubber mold have few molding times?

The silicone rubber mold has few molding times is due to follwoing reasons: adding too much silicone oil which will destroy the molecular of silicone rubber; making the mold for small and fine detailed products with higher hardness silicone rubber which is easy to break; making the mold for large products with soft silicone rubber which will reduce the tensile and tear strength of the mold, and the mold will have deformation. Thus, we should take the proper silicone rubber to make the mold for suitable products.
