Description of HY-E620# Platinum silicone for tire mold making  :

Normally, tire mold is shped by silicone mold. HY-E620# silicone is specially desinged for tire mold shapping. HY-E620# Platinum silicone for tire mold making, which is used for precision casting of tyre mold and reproduction of gypsum tyre molds.

Features of HY-E620# Platinum silicone for tire mold making  :

HY-E620# tyre molding silicone rubber is used in pouring (wrapping) way to make molds, and is with the hardness of about 20 shore A. Thus it is with advantage of low viscosity, good fluidity, good operability ,easy to release bubbles, excellent tensile and tear strength, easy for pouring, and what’s more, it is in blue, thus it is very easy to distinct the delicate patterns of the tyre molds.

Here is the flow of making a tire mold with silicone:

1. Preparation: adjust the HY-E620# Platinum silicone for tire mold making.

Stir part A and part B with right mixing ratio (1:1) evenly. And get the mixture for vacuum-pumping. (If there is no vacuumizer, you can just pour the mixture slowly from the corner so that less bubbles caused)

2. To make the tire mold with HY-E620#Platinum silicone for tire mold making, please see the flows in the following pictures:

1). Carve an original tire mold, make a manual tire mold. Every entire tire mold conclude 8 pieces of small tire mold.

2) Use HY-E620# Platinum silicone for tire mold making to make a mold, and pouring a gypsum out mold around the tire mold.

3) Pouring gypsum into the mold, and fire it into ceramics with high temperature.

4) Fix the ceramic mold and pour steel water into it.  Baking it then you get a steel tire mold.
