Addition Cure silicone rubber for button molds application:

E625 is a kind of platinum silicone mold making .It's liquid with moderate viscosity and can be poured and brushed.The mold made out of the silicone and curing agent,which with high temperature up to 250-300°C,has dimension stability,low linear shrinkage.It’s a two-component material with mixing ratio of 10:1,and it’s used for soft mold making,etc.

The curing time is subject to the temperature, short time will be required under high temperature, long time will be required 

while the product with large thickness.

RTV-2 silicone for statue mold making is flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A° after curing with features:

1. resistance to deformation and high-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion

2. good tensile strength, tear strength and elongation

Why is the silicone mold oily?
The molding silicone rubber itself doesn’t contain any oil, so it won’t be oily. If the mold is oily, it may be because you add the compound silicone oil( the compound of silicon oil and white oil). The white oil is not silicon oil but a kind of pe6. Why isn’t the silicon mold acid - alkali and aging resistant?
It is due to the addition of the silicon oil. Normally we do not advise our customers to add any silicon oil into the silicon rubber. If it is necessary, the ratio must be 5%-10%.
