                   Select a mixing container 4-5 times larger than the total volume of material to

                 be mixed. Weigh out the RTV830A and RTV830B components (in a ratio of

                 1:1 by weight) optionally combined with a pigment paste (like e.g. 1 or 2 %

                 by weight of Silopren LSR colour batch). Stir for several minutes until the

                 material is well mixed. The air entrapped in the mixing step needs to be

                 removed. This can be done by exposing the material to an absolute pressure

                 of 10-20 mbar. The material will expand, crest and reduce to about the

                 original level. Degassing is usually complete about two minutes after frothing

                 ceases.

                 Automatic equipment designed to meter, mix and dispense a two component

                 silicone liquid elastomer, with optionally a third system to dose and mixes in

                 the pigment, will add convenience to continuous large scale operations.

The product, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
