Some filler may settle during transport and storage, to ensure a uniform mix, the components should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.

Silk screen printing silicone elastosil is a moisture curing silicone sealant. For this reason the curing rate strongly deends on both temperature and atmospheric humidity in the surrounding.

Silk screen printing silicone elastosil can be applied with standard silk screen printing equipment.

Silk screen printing silicone elastosil cures under the invluence of moisture from the air, colors may be obtained by addition of 3-5% pigment paste if desired. After addition the material has to be mixed carefully.

Storage:

The best use before end date of each batch is shown on the product label.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked fro quality assurance reasons.

Safety Notes:

Liquid silicone elastomer  releases during cure a total of 4% butanone oxime. These vapours should not be inhaled for long periods or in high concentration. Work areas should therefore be well ventilated.
