- Sand paper is pasted on cylinder surface, and the samples is pressed by the cylinder with sand paper, then make the sample horizontal movement along the cylinder.
- Abrasion produces at one end of Cylindrical specimen, measure quality loss value of the sample, and Amount of volume abrasion value is calculated by the density of the sample.
