Detailed

Introduction of crystals edible soda  sodium bicarbonate in bulk
Classification: Carbonate               Type: Sodium Bicarbonate                      CAS No.: 144-55-8
MF: NaHCO3                                      EINECS No.: 205-633-8                          Place of Origin: Henan, China (Mainland)
Grade Standard: Food Grade         Purity: 99% Min                                          Appearance: White
Application: cake and bread          Model Number: 0056                                Color: White Color
Usage: Food Addictive                    Grade: food grade                                    PH: 8.5 Min

Property: white powder or tiny crystal, inodorous and salty, easily soluble in water,  insoluble in alcohol, presenting slightly alkalinity, decomposed when heating, decomposed slowly when exposed to moist air.
Cautions: Keeping away from sunlight and moisture, storing in well ventilated dry place.
Application:as yeast in the food industry, detergent additives, carbon dioxide generant, pharmaceutical raw materials.

Chemical Propertieswhite powder or crystals
General DescriptionOdorless white crystalline powder or lumps. Slightly alkaline (bitter) taste. pH (of freshly prepared 0.1 molar aqueous solution): 8.3 at 77°F. pH (of saturated solution): 8-9. Non-toxic.
Air & Water ReactionsStable in dry air, but slowly decomposes in moist air. Moderately water soluble. Decomposes slowly in water (accelerated by agitation) .
Reactivity ProfileSodium bicarbonate reacts exothermically with acids to generate non-toxic carbon dioxide gas. Decomposes when heated. Incompatible with acids, acidic salts (dopamine hydrochloride, pentazocine lactate, many alkaloidal salts) aspirin and bismuth salicylate.
Fire HazardLiterature sources indicate that Sodium bicarbonate is noncombustible.
Biological ActivityCommonly used laboratory reagent
