The cleaning methods of Oily ternary catalytic converter

1. Screw down the washing fluid cap of the three-element catalytic converter, pour the needed cleaning liquid into the tank and tighten the cap. (Notice: the gasket must not be left out and the cap must be tightened.)

2. When the engine is on flameout, take a vacuum tube of intake manifold, preferably from carbon tank solenoid valve to intake manifold vacuum tube.

3. Connect the nozzle of the cleaning equipment to the vacuum tube and close the flow control valve of the cleaning equipment.

4. The starting engine, with a displacement of 2. 0 L or above, remains idle, and the engine speed of a vehicle below 2. 0 L keeps the engine speed at 1500 rpm.

5. Then slowly open the cleaning equipment flow control valve, so that the cleaning agent atomization into the engine combustion. The best control of cleaning agent flow is the slight jitter when the engine is running at idle speed. If the engine jitter is severe during cleaning, immediately reduce the cleaning agent flow to the engine normal operation. Cleaning process, always pay attention to cleaning agent flow, to avoid due to excessive flow rate caused by abnormal engine work.

6. After cleaning, keep the engine idle for 2-3 minutes, then repeatedly increase the throttle 810 times, the oxygen sensor and ternary catalytic converter surface after cleaning off the attachment, Until there are no gray, black or cyan smog exhausting from the exhaust pipe .

7. As irritating gas will be produced during cleaning, it is suggested that the ternary catalytic converter be cleaned in an open and ventilated place.

8. Ternary catalytic converters may not be cleaned in the following cases:

a. Engine work is not normal, there are jitter, abnormal noise, serious burning oil, obviously lack of cylinder or broken fire and so on;

b. The ternary catalytic converter has been sintered or damaged;

c. Ternary catalytic converter that does not meet the quality requirements of automobile manufacturers.
