About flange seal face
Full Face / Flate Face
FF flange has the advantages of Simple structure, convenient processing, easy to carry out anti-corrosion lining, suitable for occasions with low pressure, PN≤2.5Mpa.
Raised Face
The sealing surface of the raised face flange is flat, and the contact
area with the gasket is large. After preloading, the gasket is easy to
extend or move to both sides. The sealing property of the flange is
poor, and it is only suitable for low pressure situations.
RTJ
The groove of ring connection surface is trapezoidal groove, which needs octagonal gasket to seal. The two flanges are identical. The sealing surface is ring groove structure, suitable for pressure range of 2.5 - 16.0 Mpa. RTJ flanges are suitable for high temperature and high pressure condations.
