This aluminum tubing product has square corners inside and outside, with no weld seam. It also maintains excellent corrosion resistance to atmospheric conditions and good corrosion resistance to sea water.
Aluminum Rectangle Tube 6063-T52 offers exceptional corrosion resistance, light weight, and good formability. 6063 is more easily formable and much more corrosion resistant than 6061, but it is only about half as strong. 6063-T52 is typically used in applications where corrosion resistance and aesthetic are more important than strength, such as piping, furniture, and decorative applications.
6063-T52 Aluminum rectangular tubing is an excellent candidate for most processing techniques with good corrosion resistance. It’s a lightweight material with a semi-smooth surface and a dull mill finish and offers defined 90° edges inside and outside. This is an extruded tube meaning there is no seam. It’s great for structural projects that require light weight material including frames, trailers, shelving, and ornamental purposes.
