Detailed

About 1108 Taper Lock Bushing

CTS® 1108 Taper Lock Bush

The 1108 is the slightly longer sibling of the 1008 in CTS's Taper Lock range - same compact footprint and single-screw mounting, but with a 1.511" A dimension and a higher 1,300 in-lbs torque rating for light industrial drives. At 0.2-0.3 lbs, it is among the lightest taper lock bushings we produce, ideal for OEM equipment where weight and envelope are constrained. One 1/4"-20 UNC installation screw (55 in-lbs wrench torque) locks it securely; taper design gives a firm, repeatable grip without damaging the shaft. Fully interchangeable with Fenner 1108, Martin 1108, and Browning 1108 taper lock bushings.
