How does Extra Super P-Force Work?

The active ingredient in Extra Super P-Force, sildenafil and dapoxetine, which are used to treat erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.  Sildenafil in Extra Super P-Force tablets acts on the erectile tissue of the penis to increase blood flow which causes an erection.  During sexual stimulation nitric oxide is released in the erectile tissue of the penis which activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase.  This enzyme increases levels of a chemical called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which relaxes the blood vessels in the penis and allows blood to fill the spongy erectile tissues to cause an erection.  Another enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) breaks down cGMP preventing blood flow into the penis, which causes loss of an erection.  Sildenafil in Extra Super P-Force tablets inhibit the action of PDE5 which resolves erectile dysfunction by allowing the natural process of sexual stimulation to activate the cGMP mechanism for achieving and maintaining an erection. 

Dapoxetine in Extra Super P-Force has been specifically designed for treating premature ejaculation, as it has a rapid onset of action, with maximum effect within 1-2 hours and a short half-life, which means that it is rapidly eliminated from the body within 24 hours.  Ejaculation is a reflex that is mediated by the sympathetic nervous system.  When sexual stimulation has reached a certain threshold, sensory nerve cells in the spinal cord are activated and nerve impulses are sent to the brain, which then send messages back to motor neurones controlling the muscles in the penis that contract to effect ejaculation.  The ejaculation reflex is thought to be mediated by serotonin, a specific brain chemical or neurotransmitter that is involved is transmitting nerve signals, which enables brain cells to communicate.  Low levels of serotonin in certain areas of the brain are thought to contribute to premature ejaculation.
