Cutomized BIER Indicator Evaluation Resistometer BIER/CIER Indicator Resistometer is a vessel to evaluate the resistance of biological or chemical indicators to sterilization, and to test the amount of bacteria contained in the pressure steam sterilization biological indicator, and the survival time, killing time and D value under the action of 121℃±0.5℃ saturated steam were determined.
Standard for Microbial Content and Resistance of Biological Indicators
1) Bacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953 or SSI K31. The amount of bacteria recovered was 5×105cfu/ piece ~ 5×106cfu/ piece, or 5×105cfu/ml ~ 5×106cfu/ml.
2) Under the condition of 121℃±0.5℃ saturated steam, survival time ≥3.9min, killing time ≤19min.
3) Under the condition of 121℃±0.5℃ saturated steam, D value is 1.3min ~ 1.9min.
