Description
OLT1000C is an OLT device which complies with IEEE802.3ah and PRC communication industry standard (YD/T 1475-2006). When it works together with the ONU400C/1000C ONU products, an efficient EPON solution can be established.
The modularized OLT supports the 1Gbps PON transmission rate. Its efficient bandwidth usage and Ethernet service supporting help carriers to provide reliable services to their users.
Its coupling ratio, 1:64, and its support of different hybrid ONU networks minimize the carrier’s investment.
The GEPON system uses a single optical fiber for both upstream and downstream transmission. Downstream traffic is sent via 1490nm wavelength and upstream traffic uses the 1310nm wavelength. The 1550nm wavelength is reserved for future CATV or wavelength division multiplex (WDM) upgrading. It is a fiber to the Home (FTTH) platform providing up to 1Gb/s Ethernet data and optionally video and voice on IP(VOIP)services to commercial and residential end users.
