 Application of Silicone RTV Rubber:

1. Silicone RTV Rubber is used for:

 - Unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, polyurethane resins casting

- Polyurethane elastomers casting and mouldings
- Natural and synthetic waxes  casting and mouldings
- Plasters and cements casting and mouldings
- Low-melting point  casting and mouldings
- Imitation wood casting and mouldings

Architectural decoration and rearoration use: interior and external ornament, cornice, ceilings, panels, corbels, columns,

balustrade, baluster, fountains, resin sculptures, concrete statues.

Handicraft production: soaps, candles, resin kit models, fugurines

2.  Silicone RTV Rubber mold making operations:

rtv silicone rubber for gypsum molding is a kind of flowing liquid, and it consists of two component, part A is a flowable liquid silicone rubber, part B is the curing agent.

Firstly, after your previous work of dealing with the original model, take some liquid silicone rubber, add 2%~3% cuing agent of the amount of silicon and mix them evenly.

Then after vacuum-pumping the mixture, you can pour it into the mold frame. The silicone mold will cured in 2~3 hours.

Notes of rtv silicone rubber for gypsum molding operations:

The time for vacuum-pumping should be less than 3-5mins, otherwise, once the silicone rubber has cross-link reaction during vacuumizing, it will not be operated. 

3.Features of Silicone RTV Rubber:

Silicone RTV2 for molding gypsum is white or red flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A°after curing. Molding silicon rubber is a kind elastic silicon rubber mold which features with resistance to deformation, high-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion as well as high reproduction times, good tensile strength ,tear strength and elongation.
