Low Shrinkage Transparent Rubber Silicone for Statues Mold is a two part silicone rubber and curing with tin catalyst. As with a low viscosity, high strength and excellent duplication times, it's widely used for concrete casting and cement products casting,making silicone moldsfor artificial stone,concretestatue molds,garden statue molds,stone molds,cement crafts,GRC/GPR decorations,ect.

The quality of our rtv silicone rubber is similar with Dow corning silicone,wacker silicone AND smooth on silicone,but the prices of our silicone rubber is more competitive than them.

3.How to making STATUES MOLD with RUBBER SILICONE?

Mixing:
Select a mixing container 4-5 times larger than the total volume of material to be mixed.
Weigh out the selected silicon rubber and catalyst. Stir for several minutes scraping the
sides and bottom of the container carefully to produce a homogeneous mixture. When
using power mixers, avoid excessive speeds, which could entrap large amounts of air or
cause overheating of the mixture, resulting in shorter pot life.
The air entrapped in the mixing step needs to be removed to eliminate voids in the cure
product. This can be done by exposing the material to a vacuum of 10-20 mbar. The
material will expand, crest and reduce to about the original level. Degassing is usually
complete about two minutes after frothing ceases.

Curing:
After mixing the two parts combination, the material will cure at room
temperature. Selection of the Beta will determine cure speed, the work life as well as the
demoulding time.

The system is sensitive to changes in heat and humidity and therefore variations in cure
speed may be seen if one or both variables are changed.

 FAQ of Low Shrinkage Transparent Rubber Silicone for Statues Mold

1) control the addition of catalyst. Usually, more catalyst would be added if you want to cured fast, but still we can adjust the working time and the curing time as you require.

2) do not remould so fast, and pls let the silicone mold cured completely, which would take about 24 hours, then remould.

3) when you produce the products, pls put the mold flatly, then pour the plater or other materials into it smoothly. 

  When you do not usually the mold, you should store it flatly, not fold it,and you also can pour the plaster into it and not remould the fisinished plaster products, leaving it in the mold to keep the mold in original shape.
