Many ink manufactures have looked into silicon as a possible plastisol replacement. It has been around since 1901 when the chemist Frederick Kipping begin his study of organic silicon compounds, which is a component in modern silicone and it was he who coined the term silicone in 1901.

Modern silicone is made with carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and yes, silicon atoms as well as other ingredients. Dow Chemical has been experimenting with silicon as an ink for several years but has not yet made a printable product. Not only is the product back in R&D, Dow has removed all mentions of their efforts from the project and are now making no promises that the product will ever see the light of day.

Operation introduction:

1,Mix Part A and Part B as ratio 1:1, you may add additive such as pigment as ratio 1~2% into part A.

2,It can be cured by heating with 100~150 degree, the curing time will be 5~10 minutes.

SHELF LIFE:

8-10 months when stored under 24°C in original unopened packages.

PACKAGE:

If ratio is 1:1 :Packed in 20kg/pail + 20kg/pail and 200kg/pail + 200kg/pail.

If ratio is 10:1 :Packed in 20kg/pail + 2kg/pail and 200kg/pail + 20kg/pail.
