Silicone rubber for shoe sole molds making Using Instruction:
Component A is white flowing liquid and component B is the curing agent. For example, take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for mixing evenly. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles. After deaired, pouring the liquid silicone rubber into the product to be duplicated or into the mold frame.
Operations of silicon rubber for shoe soles mold making:
Firstly process and prepare the model mold or the product to be duplicated, take certain amount of the silicon rubber, add 2-3% solid curing agent, and mix evenly and they are ready for use. One pair of mold can be solidified and formed in 2-3 hours.
Notes of silicon rubber for shoe soles mold making operations:
Our company does not recommend you to add silicone oil. If a special soft silicon mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demould.
How to use :
1.The cast pouring, for example
Prepare a frame,fix the prototype for copy into the frame,(if the prototype’s material is glass or ceramic, the release agent is necessary to prevent sticking.
2. Take 2~3%curing agent of RTV, and mix it evenly with rubber.
3.Vacuum defoaming in 1~3 min,inject the rubber into the type box, then vacuum defoaming again, curing 24 hours in nature room temperature, use it after demold.
4. Demold after 3 hours’ room temperature curing,and then use it after 24 hours’ keep mold under the same condition.
Note: The product is used for pouring or brushing technique. That is to say, fix the product or sole model to be duplicated onto a plane plate, then enclose the plane frame with wooden plates to prevent the leakage of the silicon, mix the silicone rubber and the curing agent evenly according to the mixing ratio of 100: 2 and pour them onto the sole model, then brush evenly with a wooden plate or a brush, and fill up the mold frame with gypsum after the silicone rubber is dried.
Storage and Precautions of silicone rubber for shoe sole molds making:
The product, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
