Detailed

High practicality
ABI Prism® 7000 Fluorescence Quantitative PCR Instrument is faster and easier to operate
• Multicolor fluorescence detection
• Real-time data monitoring
• Analysis of melting curve real-time display
• Simplified allele determination (for SNPs analysis)
• Negative/positive results are automatically determined
• Space-saving design

Outstanding precision and accuracy
The ABI 7000 fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument uses precise optical principles and complex multi-component algorithms to accurately detect and process exponentially amplified PCR data, yielding high-precision and reproducible Ct values (there is a linear relationship between the Ct value and the initial copy number).

Reliable performance
The installation index of the ABI 7000 type fluorescent quantitative PCR instrument: using the TaqMan® RNase P Instrument Detection Plate, the ABI 7000 fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument can distinguish the template copy number between 5,000 and 10,000 with a confidence of up to 99.7%.

Multicolor fluorescence detection system
During the reaction, the 96 sample wells of the ABI 7000 Sequence Detection System were excited by a tungsten halogen lamp, and the generated fluorescence was passed through an optical filter to a CCD camera. The filter wheel can effectively distinguish many fluorescent dyes including FAMTM/SYBR® Green I, VICTM/JOETM, TAMRATM, and ROXTM. Multicolor fluorescence detection technology enables multiple quantification, SNPs genotyping and anion/negative analysis with internal positive controls.

Two optional chemical reagents
ABI Prism® 7000 sequence detection system is compatible with two chemical reagents:
• The 5’’ nuclease assay using the TaqMan® probe provides superior sensitivity and specificity, and enables multiplex reactions.
• SYBR® Green I dye is an ideal chemical reagent for target gene identification or a small amount of reaction.

Reaction design that does not need to be optimized
Regardless of the chemical reagent you choose, the analytical guidelines for the ABI 7000 fluorescence PCR instrument can save time and provide reliable results. Different target genes do not need to optimize the amplification system and parameters separately, and the basic components of analysis guidance include:
• Primer Express® software provides automatic primer and probe design
• TaqMan® and SYBR® Green I Master Mixes simplify PCR loading
• Multiple temperature cycle parameters allow you to perform different sample tests in the same sample plate
• Default primer and probe concentration settings do not require analysis optimization

1. Absolute quantification By measuring the Ct value of a sample and using a standard curve, the initial copy number of an unknown sample can be quantified. The standard curve is obtained by calculating the Ct value of a diluted known copy number sample.
2. Relative quantification Relative quantitative analysis calculates expression levels from a standard sample instead of using a standard curve. Endogenous controls were used to correct the sample load.
3. High resolution SNP detection The ABI 7000 fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument can also utilize multicolor fluorescence to detect single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
4. Negative/positive analysis (endpoint analysis) Using the internal positive control (IPC), the ABI 7000 fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument can perform negative/positive analysis. Since a positive control is added to each sample to be tested, false negative results can be effectively prevented.
