Expanded perlite is a natural acidic vitreous non-metallic mineral. Because its volume rapidly expands 4 to 30 times under high temperature conditions of 1000 to 1300℃, it is called expanded perlite. Generally, the expansion ratio is more than 7-10 times and the content of silicon dioxide is about 70%.
