030 Empty CHG Applicator  is a medical applicator which is used for skin antisepsis preparation, it is made of medical grade 100PPI open-cell polyurethane foam and white ABS handle. It can be filled with formulation of 2% Chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA), thus it would kill more bacteria than traditional Iodophor swabs and Alcohol swabs. CHG Prep Applicators have been widely used for CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), INS (Infusion Nurses Society), SHEA (Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America) and IDSA (Infectious Diseases Society of America).

◔ Tip made of medical-grade foam :soft, inert and hypoallergenic,release fewer particles than gauze
◔ Maxi size applicators allow for the antisepsis of a large surface of skin 4 in x 5 in ( 10.2 cm x 12.7 cm )
◔ It can be filled with 3ml of 2% W/V Chlorhexidine Gluconate and 70% V/V Isopropyl Alcohol:
- Fast-acting antiseptic, with a residual activity for over 24 hours
- Antiseptic not affected by contact with organic matter, unlike Iodophor solutio
- Antiseptic effective against Gram positive bacteria, Gram negative bacteria, fungi and viruses
- Solution that dried quickly

◔ Design is convenient for use in Operation Room,Obstetrics, Radiology,Emergency Room and Care
Product Usage

◔ Use with care in premature infants or infants under 2 months of age. These products may cause irritation or chemical burns.
◔ Discard the Swab Stick after a single use.
◔ The Foam is latex-free and for external use.
◔ Use in a well-ventilated area.
◔ Do not use for lumbar puncture or in contact with the meninges.
◔ Do not use on open wounds or as a general skin cleanser.
◔ Do not use on patients with known allergies to CHG or IPA.
◔ Store between 15 to 30 ° C (59 to 86 ° F).
◔ Keep the solution out of the eyes, ears and mouth.
◔ Avoid freezing and excessive heat above 40 ° C (104 ° F). Store within the recommended conditions to maintain the efficacy

It can be customized with the following formulation ratio content :-
1) 0.5% w/v CHG ( Chlorhexidine Gluconate ) + 70% v/v IPA ( Isopropyl Alcohol )
2) 3.75% w/v CHG ( Chlorhexidine Gluconate ) + 70% v/v IPA ( Isopropyl Alcohol )
3) 4.0% w/v CHG ( Chlorhexidine Gluconate ) + 70% v/v IPA ( Isopropyl Alcohol )
4) Povidone Iodine USP 10% w/v ( Equivalent to 1% Titratable Iodine )
