In terms of body dimensions, the length, width and height of Hongqi H5 are 4988mm, 1875mm and 1470mm respectively, and the wheelbase is up to 2920mm (also claimed to be 2.9 metres), which provides passengers with spacious interior space.
Power Performance
The hognqi H5 is powered by a turbocharged engine, offering both 1.5T and 2.0T power options. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 124 kW and a torque output of 258 Nm, providing 169 hp. This engine is mated to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, providing drivers with smooth power delivery and driving experience. The 2.0T version, on the other hand, is equipped with a new-generation turbocharged engine developed independently by Red Flag, which is paired with a class-leading 8-speed manual transmission, delivering a maximum power of up to 165 kW and a peak torque of 340 Nm, which makes it easy to handle, whether it's for daily commuting or high-speed gallivanting.
Safety Configuration
Hongqi H5 also spares no effort in terms of safety. The new car adopts a high-strength steel body structure, with more than 68 per cent of high-strength steel, providing solid protection for passengers. At the same time, the new car is also equipped with a wealth of active safety equipment, including lane departure warning, blind zone monitoring, active braking and so on, providing drivers with a full range of safety protection. In addition, the interior of the car also adopts low-odour, low-diffusion green materials, and equipped with intelligent air quality management system, to create a fresh and healthy ‘mother and baby’ cabin environment.
