Our ceramic fiber boards are high-performance thermal insulation materials designed for industrial furnaces and kilns. Available in classification temperatures from 1400°C to 1900°C, they offer low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, and excellent thermal shock resistance. From 1400°C ceramic fiber to 1600°C polycrystalline mullite fiber and 1800°C alumina fiber — we cover the full high-temperature spectrum.

Not all "ceramic fiber" is the same. At FOVO Thermal, we manufacture three distinct material types across the high-temperature spectrum:
All grades are available in custom sizes with no minimum order quantity — whether you need a single piece for a laboratory furnace or bulk modules for an industrial kiln.
| Length (mm) | Width (mm) | Thickness (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| 1000 | 600 | 10 – 100 |
| 1200 | 1000 | 10 – 100 |
Custom sizes available upon request.
At FOVO Thermal, we manufacture ceramic fiber boards across the full high-temperature spectrum. However, not all "ceramic fiber" is the same:
| Temperature Grade | Material Type | Recommended Continuous Use |
|---|---|---|
| 1400°C | Ceramic Fiber (Alumino-Silicate) | ≤ 1250°C |
| 1500°C – 1600°C | Polycrystalline Mullite Fiber | ≤ 1450°C |
| 1700°C – 1900°C | Alumina Fiber | > 1450°C |
All grades are available in custom sizes with no minimum order quantity. Whether you need a single piece for a laboratory furnace or bulk modules for an industrial kiln, we can manufacture to your exact specifications.
Suitable for insulation linings in box-type heat treatment furnaces, bogie hearth furnaces, and pit-type furnaces. The low heat storage characteristic of ceramic fiber board reduces heat-up time by over 30% compared to traditional brick linings — particularly advantageous for intermittent heat treatment processes (quenching, annealing, tempering, normalizing). Boards can be cut on-site, and furnace downtime for relining can be controlled within 2–3 days.
Suitable for lid linings and sidewall back-up insulation in medium-frequency induction melting furnaces. The low thermal conductivity of ceramic fiber board effectively reduces outer shell temperature, minimizes heat loss, and improves working conditions. Excellent thermal shock resistance withstands frequent lid openings.
Suitable for heating section insulation in horizontal and curved glass tempering furnaces, as well as insulation linings in glass annealing lehrs. Ceramic fiber board contains no soluble alkali metal oxides, preventing surface contamination of glass products — making it an ideal insulation material for the glass industry.
Suitable for linings in box-type laboratory furnaces, tube furnaces, and atmosphere-controlled furnaces. Dimensions can be customized to drawings with no minimum order quantity, meeting the frequent replacement needs of research institutes for non-standard sizes.
Suitable for insulation linings in continuous high-temperature equipment such as sintering furnaces, pusher kilns, and roller kilns in the metallurgical industry. Excellent thermal shock resistance and chemical stability adapt to demanding long-term continuous operation conditions.
