We also know that the 8" or 6" clocks designed for outdoor purpose is a kind of waste of money for such small events. Pushed by more and more customers, we developed this race timing clock. The clock is 5" high character with 5 digits,supports countdown/up function. When it counts up, it can count up to 9 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds from 0:00:00 and when countdown it counts from 9 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds to 0 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. Besides, you can start a countdown or a count up timing at any time between 0:00:00 and 9:59:59 in hours minutes seconds. Although we invented 5" 6 digits clock with a portable tripod, some people may not use that long time. So, just a countdown or count up timer will be just fine for them. So, we made this item. On this clock, we are using a more light-weighed tripod and the size is very small. It is quite nice when you set the tripod height below 1.5 meters(around 3.3 ft). When the tripod is folded, it's only around 0.66 meter long and the weight is only around 1 kilo gram. Plus the clock weight, the total weight is around 2.5 kilo grams. So, you can easily carry it anywhere.(But, please do fasten the tripod legs during the running events if the wind is too heavy, don't let the wind blow it down). Another demand from our customers is they usually want a battery to power up this clock. We also think it as a must. So, besides the regular AC-DC power adapter(100-240VAC input, 12VDC output, with one meter long power cord), we also provide a 80cm long cable with 2.1/5.5mm connector on one side connect to the clock and USB connector on the cable other side to connect to your battery so that customers may need a battery to power up(So, when you purchase a battery, you'd better purchase a battery with USB output connector). Due to the forbidden policy on battery, we don't provide battery. A specs reference may be helpful for you. A 6800MAH battery can power up this clock around 4 hours at it's highest brightness. So, if you want a longer clock work time, you need to purchase a battery with a larger volume capacity. And the battery needs a connector on which the 2.1/5.5mm connector can be plugged in.
