TW-based Track Geometry System
Detailed
Overview
The system employs an advanced integrated model that combines absolute control point measurement using a total station with relative inertial measurement. It enables high-efficiency track measurement by performing resection and setup without the need for precise leveling of the total station, achieving a measurement speed of 1.0–2.0 km/h. The measurement results can be processed through dedicated fine-adjustment software to simulate track adjustments and generate a precise construction plan for track optimization.
This system provides an integrated solution for a wide range of applications, including measurement control during construction, guidance for precise adjustment work, and project acceptance for high-speed railways and newly built lines. It also supports routine inspection of operational lines and maintenance guidance.
Key Components
The system comprises a T-shaped trolley integrated with an Inertial Measurement System (IMS) and is supported by a ruggedized military-grade laptop computer running data acquisition and analysis software. It also includes a high-precision total station complete with a tripod and data transmission radio, along with dedicated ballastless track fine-adjustment software for comprehensive track evaluation and optimization.
Application Scopes
⚪ Measurement of internal track parameters and external alignment parameters (both plane and elevation) on lines established based on CPIII control networks or fixed peg control networks.
⚪ Performing long-wave fine adjustment of ballastless tracks based on CPIII control networks or fixed peg control networks.
